We’re looking for a Lead iOS Community who combines strong iOS engineering expertise with hands-on development responsibilities and a passion for building and growing a professional iOS community.
You will:
- Bring brand new Onde features to life
- Write platform components
- Layout a design system and screens on its basis using Texture (ex AsyncDisplayKit) (SwiftUI)
- Work with Ruby/Python scripts and Fastlane
- Participate in migration from Objective-C to Swift
- Lead and grow the iOS professional community, ensuring technical excellence and a strong culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
- Define and promote best practices in architecture, development, testing, and CI/CD, while driving long-term reduction of technical debt
- Support hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and performance development of iOS engineers
- Act as a community advocate by organizing internal trainings, master classes and knowledge sharing
Requirements:
- Leadership mindset and strong communication skills
- 6 +years of experience in iOS development with deep understanding of modern iOS architecture and best practices
- Proficiency in Swift
- Strong understanding of iOS memory management
- Proven ability to lead through active coding, code reviews, and technical decision-making
- Experience in mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
- Facilitate discussions, participate in technical talks and community events
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
It’ll be a bold plus if you have:
- Experience with AsyncDisplayKit
- Basic understanding of XCUITest framework
- Experience with Fastlane
- Experience with White Label applications
- Experience with SwiftUI
- Understanding of Objective C
